From 2019 to date, Elton Ecology has delivered large work packages of the following ecological services:

  • Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW)
  • Natural England Mitigation Licence Accredited Agent ECoW
  • Ground level bat roost assessment of trees
  • Tree climbing aerial bat roost inspections
  • Preliminary bat roost assessments of buildings
  • Great crested newt eDNA survey
  • Nocturnal emergence/ re-entry surveys of trees and buildings, including aided by thermal imaging and HD infrared video cameras
  • Installation of mitigation wildlife boxes

  • Working at Height
  • Display Screen Equipment Assessment Training

As required for tree climbing bat roost aerial inspection surveys, some staff hold:

  • NPTC Level 2 Award Tree Climbing & Rescue 206 & 306
  • Safety Critical Work Certificate of Health Assessment
  • Natural England survey licenses
